Inalfa Roof Systems designs, develops and manufactures sunroofs and open-roof systems for the automotive industry. We are a First Tier supplier for BMW Group, Daimler, Chrysler Group, Ford, General Motors, Volkswagen, Audi, Volvo, Citroën, Chery, Geely, Hyundai Kia, Land Rover, Renault, Nissan and many others. Inalfa Roof Systems Group is headquartered in Venray (Limburg, close Venlo and the German border with Koln and Dusseldorf in the area), The Netherlands, and we have a global footprint with facilities in Europe, Asia and the America’s.
You will be working at the Global Research & Innovation department of Inalfa Roofsystems under supervision of an engineering specialist as well as in coöperation with other team members. The Global Research & Innovation department is responsible for the development and requirements of idea’s to new products and technologies for future roofsystems at Inalfa Roofsystems for the worldwide automotive market. As a department we are continuously improving our roofsystems, creating new roofsystem designs, and following the latest market trends. The developments can be focused on several aspects, for example strength, stiffness, headroom, safety, weight, costs, or adding new functions such as light, solar panels, etc….
Your Main Tasks and Responsibilities Are:
Support the development of ambient lighting features in the roof system
Support in defining and creating prototypes
And much more. We are always open for new creative ideas!
Define, perform and analyze measurements
Development of simulation tools
What Do We Expect From You:
You are a 3rd year Bachelor student mechanical engineering or automotive engineering.
Good technical knowledge, creativity, and strong analytical skills.
Affinity with software programs or requirement engineering is a pre
You are an enthusiastic, pro-active student with good communication skills, also in English.
What we offer you

You will receive a fee of €385,- gross per month (40hrs, Master / Bachelor level). Additionally, we provide a travel compensation.
