About the offer
Jumbo is one of the most famous supermarkets in the Netherlands, with more than 600 stores and 7 distribution centers. At the warehouses, thousends of groceries are prepared for and distributed to online customers.
As order picker, you will collect orders with a trolley. Each trolley contains about 15 to 18 crates with groceries for online customers for daily delivery. Collecting the orders will be done with a scanner and voice system. You will work in three core departments with an assortment of long-life, fresh and freeze products.
You will work in shifts of 05:30 to 14:00, 14:30 to 22:30, 22:00 to 05:30. For nights, Sundays and freeze department, you will receive allowances.
The first days, you will get an onboarding and trainings to get to know the work activities. You have the opportunity to follow trainings for EPT, reach truck or forklift. You can buy a tasty meal at the canteen, which you will get for free during the evening shift. A great benefit: several times per year, there will be trucks with ice cream, fries or something else delicious!
