For JingDong Logistics in Venray we are looking for a Warehouse team leader who can combine operational excellence with team leadership. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring smooth warehouse operations while motivating and developing your team within a safe, efficient, and high-quality working environment.

Additionally, you have:

• MBO+ level education, preferably in Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field
• At least 1 year of experience as a Team Leader within a warehouse or logistics environment
• Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and basic Microsoft Office skills
• Good command of the English language, both spoken and written
• Experience working with KPIs; knowledge of Lean and/or 5S is considered an advantage
• You are able to work in 2 shifts and available from Monday to Sunday
• You have your own accommodation
• You have your own transportation (car) or live in or nearby Venray so that you can also travel by bicycle or scooter. The company is not reachable by public transport

As a Warehouse team leader, you are responsible for coordinating daily warehouse operations and ensuring that all logistics processes run efficiently. You will maintain an overview of the workflow, distribute tasks effectively, and help achieve operational targets.

Your responsibilities include:

• Leading and coordinating daily warehouse activities, including receiving, order picking, packing, and shipping
• Actively participating in warehouse operations and supporting the team on the work floor
• Training, coaching, and developing team members through on-the-job guidance
• Monitoring workflows, identifying bottlenecks, and implementing corrective actions when necessary
• Escalating operational risks and maintaining clear communication with internal departments
• Collaborating with other teams to ensure smooth processes and achieve business objectives
• Supporting continuous improvement initiatives focused on productivity, quality, and cost efficiency
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work environment in compliance with health and safety standards
